Buffalo Bills star LeSean McCoy is among the best running backs in the NFL and likely has a good number of fans around the globe. But as Jadon Ceravolo of BuffaloBills.com reports, one such fan is actually fellow AFC Pro Bowler, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell.

Bell was highly complimentary of Shady and even went so far as to mention him in the same breath as former Detroit Lions great Barry Sanders in terms of his elusiveness.

“Oh man, Shady’s changed the game. He’s a guy, outside of Barry Sanders, a guy who never really gets hit,” said Bell. “He’ll lose yards to gain yards. I mean, he’ll literally lose about four or five yards, run around guys, to try to gain six yards. He’s a special player. To interact with him out here, obviously I knew him off the field before this, but to spend a whole week with him is fun.”

McCoy, 29, had another stellar campaign in 2017 as he played a huge part in helping the Bills snap their nearly two-decade-long playoff drought. He finished with 1,138 rushing yards, which was good for fourth in the NFL, one spot below Bell. Shady also had 59 receptions, which actually led the Bills by a healthy margin, for 448 yards.

Bell was also amazed by how quick McCoy remains even in his ninth season in the league. He doesn’t see any sign that Shady is slowing down, which is good news for the Bills and not-so-good news for defenders he’ll be going up against.
