Micah Hyde just “gets it.” The Buffalo Bills are the Rodney Dangerfield of football.

The Bills safety looks across the entire state of the league and at every one of the 32 teams, generating the feeling that his organization up in cold Orchard Park, New York simply doesn't receive a whole ton of respect, via Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic.

“I think that our play speaks for itself,” Hyde said. “I think when people put on the film of us on Sundays, they see how we run to the football, we get to the football, how we make plays. All that best secondary stuff, it is what it is. We understand there’s a lot of teams in this league that get a lot of respect and Buffalo’s not one of them. We’ll gain that respect just as we’re trying to do as a team also. There are no hard feelings. We understand where we stand in this whole big picture. It’s Buffalo. We don’t get a lot of respect.”

In addition to understanding, Hyde takes it a step further.

“We love it,” he added.

Hyde, 27, is an NFL vet who's seen a lot. After a four-year stint with the Green Bay Packers to kickstart his career, the safety moved to Buffalo for the 2017 season. It worked wonders as he qualified for his first Pro Bowl with five interceptions, 13 passes defensed and 65 total tackles.

Playing with young Tre'Davious White and company, Micah Hyde expects to be a force yet again this coming season.
