The Kansas Chiefs were without cornerback Marcus Peters when Andy Reid and company broke their losing streak on Sunday. That's the good news.

And yet, there's even some more good coming.

Despite Marcus Peters having a relatively iffy season (for his standards), the Chiefs could desperately use his sort of talent on the field. Unfortunately, Andy Reid and company had to see him on the sideline last weekend, as he was suspended for some tomfoolery.

For those unaware, Peters left the field a few weeks back well before the game was actually over. This was after hurling a penalty flag in the air. It was the National Football League franchise, and not the NFL itself, that suspended the player.

Well, according to Reid, that suspension is no more.

“No. He’s back,” Reid said, via ArrowheadPride.com. “The suspension is over and now he’s back in and ready to roll. That’s the way I’m going to handle it and that’s the way he’ll handle it. For whatever wrong took place, he paid that price and now he’s back and I expect nothing but the best for him.”

With the AFC West being a debacle this season, Kansas City is in the driver's seat to win the division despite losing a bunch of games in a row at one point this season.
