Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and the rest of the Cleveland Browns haven't exactly lit the league on fire in the early stages of the 2020 NFL season. With a 2-1 record in their first three games, the Browns have a winning record but haven't really overcome a true challenge just yet.
However, their three-time Pro Bowler seems to have a lot on mind as he tweeted cryptic statements ahead of their upcoming Week 4 matchup on Sunday:
Sometimes I wonder if I want this 🏈 shxt too much…

Beckham's first tweet wasn't the last straw as a flurry of strange tweets subsequently followed:
“There never was a plan B…” came the next cryptic tweet.
“I was destined for more… im not gon stop,” he said next.
“One day….you gon see it! Ima make sure”
“Our faith can move mountains…”
“Im on a mission…”
“Seem like nobody wanna run the race witcha, but errbody wanna be at the finish line to hold the trophy”
“Overcame obstacles and they still come…”
Browns fans were equally perplexed by the possible context of Beckham's tweets:

The former LSU Tiger continues to settle in his role and get his fair share of touches in a stacked Browns offense. He recorded a meager 22 yards on 3 receptions in their opening game loss against the Baltimore Ravens. He bounced back in the following game against the Cincinnati Bengals by accounting for 74 receiving yards on 4 receptions and a scored touchdown for his team.
Beckham followed it with 59 yards on 4 receptions on a Week 3 win against the Washington Football Team. In three starts in as many games, he is averaging a career-low 3.7 catches and 51.7 yards per game.
The seven-year veteran will look to come out with his long-awaited breakout performance as they aim for their third win of the season against the Cowboys. Maybe then, his tweets will start to make more sense.
