Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is in the middle of a difficult stretch in his budding career. While he's already dealing with a myriad of injuries, they could also stumble out of the hunt for the NFL Playoffs if they don't figure things out on the field soon.

The Browns barely eked out a win over the winless Detroit Lions on Sunday, surviving with a 13-10 score. Mayfield, clearly bothered by his shoulder, knee, and foot injuries, struggled all game. He only finished with 15-of-29 for 176 yards and had two interceptions.

After the Browns' ugly victory, Mayfield didn't talk to reporters. It was uncharacteristic for the usually amiable signal-caller. On Monday, he broke his silence and admitted that he was just extremely frustrated about not playing up to par, and he's eager to bounce back against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday (via NFL reporter Ari Meirov).

“I'd be the first to tell you I played like s***.

Yeah, we saw.

His mediocre showing against the Lions also drew some controversy after his wife, Emily Mayfield, posted a now-deleted Instagram Story seemingly throwing shade at other Browns players for not being accountable enough.

The Browns are in last place in the AFC North with a 6-5 win-loss slate. While it's not totally terrible, the jockeying for positions for the NFL Playoffs could be pretty right, and Mayfield and company need to string up wins fast and don't play like s*** to improve their chances.
