Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield expressed tremendous excitement during his new teammate Odell Beckham Jr.'s introductory press conference. This was Beckham Jr.'s first official appearance as a member of the team since being traded a couple weeks ago.

Mayfield stated during the press conference that he was beyond ecstatic upon hearing the news as if he was out “on the field.”

“I absolutely hoped for that, but I wouldn’t necessarily say that we talked about it too much,’’ he said. “Thought about it. Throwing to him, just running routes on air, realizing the potential and all the talent that he has, it’s unique. Not many are able to do it. So then you put together two LSU Tigers next to each other, it’s a dangerous duo. It’s going to be a lot of fun but it’s something you can only dream about.’’

Mayfield will have a great time throwing to two incredibly talented receivers, who happen to be the best of friends. OBJ and Jarvis Landry's relationship has been well-documented over the years and dates back to their younger days before the NFL. The Browns are going to get the best out of both of them.

The future is brighter than ever for the Browns as they will likely take the division by storm and bring forth a winning culture back to Cleveland. The potential and talent the team possesses is almost unimaginable, but the team has high expectations to live up to ahead of next season. The connection between Mayfield and Beckham Jr. will definitely be something to watch out for next season.
