The Cleveland Browns have decided to release star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. after a brief, injury-riddled stint that didn't really pan out. While fans are frustrated with the outcome–with some blaming the wideout for his attitude and performance–his Cleveland teammates doesn't seem to share the same sentiment.
OBJ's now-former Browns teammates made sure to give their parting message to the disgruntled star despite his less-than-ideal exit, with most of them thanking him for his contributions to the team and being a “big brother” who guided them.
Anthony Schwartz and Donovan Peoples-Jones, who developed a close bond with Beckham as part of the Browns' wide receiving corps, were a bit emotional as they expressed their admiration and gratitude for him.
Thank you for your guidance and for taking me under your wing and helping me grow, will always appreciate you family🤞🏽 @obj

For what it's worth, Jarvis Landry also sent his parting message to Odell Beckham Jr. earlier in the day after the Browns confirmed the decision to release the former New York Giants star. Landry called OBJ one of the best teammates he has ever had, showing his respect and signifying that he has no issues with his ex-teammate.
1 Of The Best Teammates I Have Ever Played With In My Life !!!! @obj

It sure appears Odell was well-liked by his teammates, so it's unfortunate he and the Browns were unable to resolve their differences and ended up parting ways instead.
Beckham has been dissatisfied with his role with the team and playing with Baker Mayfield, and it reach its boiling point when he made only one reception for six yards in their 15-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
It is unknown where he'll end up next, but he now has the opportunity to start fresh and find a team he will be comfortable with.
