Cleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson has made it clear a few times that he would like to be traded this off-season but with training camp approaching and he still on the team, he isn't concerned that those comments are going to cause issues going forward.
Johnson said at minicamp that he would like to be traded, and received a lot of pushback from some inside the organization including Baker Mayfield.
“I only want to be somewhere I’m wanted,” Johnson said June 4 before the first practice of the team’s three-day mandatory minicamp via Ohio.com. “At the end of the day, that’s all this is about, being somewhere you’re wanted. In my case, the moment I’m not wanted anymore, I think it’s best that we find a middle ground and we do what’s best for the team. If you don’t want me here, there’s no need to keep me or force me to be here.”
Mayfield made some pointed comments saying players could either join them or move out the way, which actually caused another rift in the locker room with some saying he took the comments too far.

“I don’t really concern myself with that,” Johnson said.
There are no indications that he will be traded so right now it looks like Johnson will be on the Browns week one, and the expectation is that he will have a big role with the team.
