The Cleveland Browns made headlines with the controversial signing of running back Kareem Hunt. As a result, teams are now looking into the idea of taking running back Duke Johnson off their hands.
Cleveland's crowded backfield room indicates that Johnson is the odd man out. According to Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com, there are multiple interested in trading for him:

The Browns have had a plethora of talent in their backfield the last two seasons. The emergence of running back Nick Chubb led to the departure of Carlos Hyde last year. Hunt's track record as a Pro Bowler indicates there will not be enough touches to go around for Johnson. This could open the door for general manager John Dorsey to explore another potential trade.
Fortunately, it appears there is plenty of interest in Johnson's services. This should come as no surprise since his skill set as a viable receiver makes him an ideal fit for most offenses. The former third-round pick has racked up 235 receptions for 2,170 yards and eight touchdowns in his first four years in Cleveland.
Of course, the Browns may want to be patient in determining Johnson's future. The NFL has not yet suspended Hunt for the incident that led to his release from the Kansas City Chiefs. It is highly likely that a suspension will be announced in the coming months. Teams interested in acquiring Duke Johnson may therefore have to beef up their offer if they hope to make a deal this offseason.
