Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is not happy with how the Odell Beckham Jr. situation panned out. For him, it didn't have to end up OBJ and the team parting ways.
Speaking out about the issue after the Browns confirmed they are releasing Beckham, Garrett expressed that he understands the frustration of the star wide receiver. While he refused to comment if he believes OBJ is right, he understood his sentiment being the No. 1 receiver of the team.
For those not in the know, everything started to fall between Beckham and the Browns after the veteran wideout made only one reception for six yards in their Week 8 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“For it to spiral out of control like this, I feel like it shouldn’t have gone this far. But now, I don’t make those decisions. At the end of the day, we’ve got to come together as a team and surround ourselves with the people in this building and move forward. At the end of the day, nobody’s going to stop and wait for us to pick up the pieces.”
Odell Beckham Jr.'s father has been outspoken on his dissatisfaction with how the Browns were playing his son. He even posted an 11-minute video showing quarterback Baker Mayfield either not passing on OBJ or failing to convert his passes to the wideout.
A myriad of issues have certainly affected the relationship between the two parties, but there's certainly no going back now. While Myles Garrett wishes it ended differently, the only thing the Browns can do now is move on.
