Cleveland Browns Odell Beckham Jr. has gotten limited work in while dealing with a hip injury since before the start of the preseason. Fortunately, it appears he was finally able to make his return to practice.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, Beckham made his return to practice:

“It’s good to have him back out,” head coach Freddie Kitchens said. “We’ve been working on the side with him on other things. It’s just a natural progression, so it’s good to have him back out.”

Beckham's presence was undoubtedly a welcome sight for Cleveland. His arrival has generated plenty of hype heading into the 2019 NFL season. However, the injury has prevented him from getting ample work in with the new offense.

The Browns can now focus on getting Beckham acquainted with the system once again. It is safe to say that the team had taken a cautious approach with his recovery from the injured hip and will continue to do so until the start of the regular season. Their main priority will be building his rapport with quarterback Baker Mayfield while hopefully working his way back to 11 percent health.

Beckham is not the only notable piece of the receiving corps to make his return. Tight end David Njoku was also spotted back at practice after dealing with a neck injury. Meanwhile, wide receiver Antonio Callaway continue to sit with a high ankle sprain. The sooner the Browns can get back to practicing at full power, the better.

For now, all starters are expected to sit out of the preseason finale against the Detroit Lions.
