Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is well poised to make his season debut in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Beckham has been given the greenlight to join the Browns' practice fully. He has not played in the NFL since Week 7 of the 2020 season after suffering from a torn ACL, so the fact that he's allowed to join the team's training and be a full go suggests that he's close to being 100 percent healthy.

For what it's worth, though, the development isn't too surprising. After all, recent reports already indicated that Odell Beckham Jr. is nearing his return to the team. Per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com last Monday, OBJ has a “decent chance” to suit up for the Browns when they host the Bears at FistEnergy Stadium on Sunday.
On the other hand, Beckham himself teased his potential return in a recent tweet to Jarvis Landry, saying that they are ‘goin to hold it down' as they wait for him. Landry suffered an MCL injury and is set to miss a few weeks as Cleveland observes his injury.
There is no doubt that Beckham is hungry to play competitively and help the Browns succeed. He missed the team's playoff berth in 2020, so that should be an extra motivation for him. Cleveland is 1-1 on the season after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1 and taking down the Houston Texans in Week 2.
