Throughout much of his career, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten has been one of the league's most productive players at his position.

Although Witten took yet another step back in his production, he was still a reliable target in the passing game for Dallas, hauling in 63 receptions for 560 receiving yards and five touchdowns while playing in all 16 regular season games for the 14th consecutive year. He has recorded more than 60 catches and more than 550 receiving yards in each campaign over that span.
Article Continues BelowAmong tight ends this season, Witten finished the season ranked seventh in catches and 12th in receiving yards. He was also second on the Cowboys in receptions, third in total receiving yards, and second in touchdown receptions. In the process, Witten passed Hall of Famer Michael Irvin for the most career receiving yards and the third-most touchdown catches in franchise history.
It adds another accolade to what should be a sure-fire Hall of Fame career for Witten, as he's been one of the most consistent sources of production at his position over the course of his career. He currently ranks second all-time in career catches and receiving yards by tight ends, only trailing Tony Gonzalez. Witten is also 21st all-time in receiving yards (12,448) and fourth in receptions (1,152).
Witten has been one of the most durable players that the league has ever seen, missing just one game in his entire career as he has played a team-record 243 consecutive games. Witten has yet to begin the four-year, $29.6 million extension that he signed last offseason, running through the 2021 campaign.
Witten is the fifth Cowboys player to be named to the Pro Bowl this year, joining defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, left tackle Tyron Smith, and right guard Zack Martin.
