The Dallas Cowboys have crept back into position for an NFC Wild Card spot thanks to their current three-game winning streak. Additionally, their playoff chances have increased exponentially with star running back Ezekiel Elliott set to make his return from a six-game suspension.

Although there have been some questions about Elliott's conditioning after having missed six games, it seems the Cowboys are not worried about it one bit. According to ESPN's Todd Archer, offensive coordinator Scott Linehan was not very secretive about whether or not Elliott will assume his normal heavy workload:

“I think we’re going to have significant touches,” Linehan said. “He looks like he’s in great shape. Practicing great. He just looks great. So he’s one of those guys that trains and prepares for the games. I think he’s ready to roll.”

Linehan's indication should come as no surprise considering how dynamic the offense was prior to Elliott's suspension. His presence was severely missed by the Cowboys as they posting single-digit performances in the three games that followed.

Fortunately, Dallas has managed to pick up the slack with 30-point outings in two of their last three games. The timing of Zeke's return could not have been better for the Cowboys as they square off against a Seattle Seahawks defense that was gashed by Los Angeles Rams star running back Todd Gurley for four touchdowns in Week 15.
