The Dallas Cowboys have split their first four games of the season that has set up a crucial matchup in Week 5 against the Houston Texans.
Following a close 26-24 win over the Detriot Lions, there has been scrutiny on the health of star running back Ezekiel Elliott as it was revealed that he is dealing with some nagging issues. Despite that, Elliott has voiced on Wednesday that he felt in great physical condition that he believes will allow him to play against the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.

This is the freshest I have felt of any Wednesday,” said Elliott, who got his ankle taped in the second quarter against the Lions. “I did a good job of coming in and getting that treatment to be ready to go today. I got to thank the training staff and all those guys for helping me get back on my feet.”
Elliott acknowledged there is soreness but said it would not slow him down in Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.
“I'm good,” he said.
Elliott has been off to an impressive start to the 2018 season where leads the NFL with 426 rushing yards along with two touchdowns while hauling in 15 catches for 125 receiving yards and a touchdown in first four games played. He is coming off a season-high 152 rushing yards and four catches for 88 receiving yards against the Lions. Elliott has stepped his production a notch over the last two games topping 100 rushing yards in each contest.
The Cowboys have heavily depended on Elliott's production to anchor their offense, especially with quarterback Dak Prescott struggling to provide consistent dependable production. Prescott had his first 200 passing yard performance of the season against the Lions, which prior to that he failed to surpass more than 170 yards.
Dallas will likely look to continue to lean Elliott to lead the offense on the road against the Texans, who have proven to be a formidable team against the run ranking ninth with just 3.7 yards per attempt.
