The Dallas Cowboys have gotten out to a bit of a slow start to the 2018 season having dropped three out of their first five games that have put them in a bit a tough spot.
Throughout this their offensive struggles have been a key talking about around the team that has contributed largely to their shortcomings in the 2018 campaign. With that in mind, star running back Ezekiel Elliott has voiced that the team hasn't resorted to blaming any single player or group for their struggles on that side of the ball, according to Kate Hairopoulos of Dallas Morning News.

When we go over to the defense, ‘hey, we're sorry we didn't hold up our end.' It's more ‘no, we need to do more, we need to go out there and win that game.' …
“There's enough accountability in this locker room that there's not going to be any finger-pointing.”
There has been no shortage of offensive issues this season for the Cowboys, who currently rank 30th with just 16.6 points per game while also holding the same ranking in the passing game. It is something that has stood out quite firmly over the first five weeks of the season that has seen much criticism keyed in on third-year quarterback Dak Prescott.
He has had much difficulty passing the ball with any level of consistency throwing for fewer than 200 yards three times while throwing just five touchdown passes with four interceptions. This includes throwing a pair of interceptions in two out of the last three games played while holding a passer rating below 70 in both of those instances.
Meanwhile, Elliott has provided vital production to the offense helping head the fifth-best running game in the league as he has an NFL-best 480 rushing yards with a pair of touchdowns along with 22 catches for 155 receiving yards and a touchdown. He has been the backbone of the offense that has helped them stay afloat through the first five games played. If the Cowboys are looking to push forward, it will require Prescott provide that balance with his arm because until then these offensive issues will continue to send their 2018 season south.
