Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones missed four games this past season due to a sprained MCL, marking the second year in a row that Jones was sidelined as a result of a knee injury.
However, during a recent appearance on NFL Network, Jones said that he is done rehabbing his knee injury and his ready to begin his return to the gridiron:
“It's something you have to hit every day,” Jones said when talking about rehab. “I finished up at the end of January. I'm cleared and ready to go now.”
Jones had a very solid 2018 campaign, rushing for 728 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging a league-best 5.5 yards per carry. In addition, he hauled in 26 receptions for 206 yards and a score.
The 24-year-old, who played his collegiate football at UTEP, was originally selected by the Packers in the fifth round (182nd pick overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.
He appeared in 12 games during his rookie season, finishing with 448 yards and four touchdowns while registering 5.5 yards per attempt.

In 2017, the Packers won seven games and failed to qualify for the postseason, largely due to the fact that Aaron Rodgers missed most of the season with a broken collarbone.
As a result of Green Bay's sudden decline, the Packers fired long-time head coach Mike McCarthy near the end of this past season.
Last month, they hired Matt LaFleur to replace him.
