The Green Bay Packers have not exactly been stalwarts over the last couple of years.
This past season, the Packers went just 6-9-1 and missed the playoffs, marking the first time since 2006 that Green Bay failed to qualify for the postseason in back-to-back campaigns.
Remember: the Packers went just 7-9 in 2017, largely due to the fact that quarterback Aaron Rodgers missed most of the season with a broken collarbone.
However, a new era is dawning in Wisconsin, as the Packers have hired Matt LaFleur as their new head coach to replace Mike McCarthy, who was fired late during the 2018 campaign.
With a new head coach and a new attitude, Green Bay running back Aaron Jones is making lofty predictions for the team heading into 2019:
“Miami next year,” Jones told Dave Schroeder of WBAY-TV, referring to the location of the Super Bowl next February. “We'll be there.”
How sure is Jones in his bold proclamation?

Jones is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he rushed for 728 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging a league-best 5.5 yards per carry. In addition, he caught 26 passes for 206 yards and a score.
The 24-year-old missed four games due to a knee injury.
Jones, who played his collegiate football at UTEP, was originally selected by the Packers in the fifth round (182nd pick overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.
He appeared in 12 contests during his rookie campaign, finishing with 448 yards while reaching the end zone four times on the ground. Once again, he missed some time due to a knee issue.
