The Indianapolis Colts have some promising news ahead of their de facto playoff play-in game in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. Their top two playmakers, wide receiver T.Y. Hilton and tight end Eric Ebron, are both expected to play despite their respective injuries, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Hilton has been dealing with an ankle problem which has kept him from practicing much over the past few weeks. But despite his lack of practice time, Hilton has kept on producing at an impressive rate. Over his last three games, Hilton has racked up 21 catches for 422 yards.

Meanwhile, Ebron has been bothered by a concussion which kept him out of practice earlier this week. However, it doesn’t seem as if that issue will prevent him from playing.

Ebron has had a career season in his debut campaign with the Colts. He’s set a new career-high with 62 catches for 690 yards and 12 touchdowns, which is one more than he managed in four seasons with the Detroit Lions.

Hilton and Ebron have combined for 18 of the 36 touchdowns Andrew Luck has thrown this season, which highlights their importance to the Colts. After them, there’s a steep dropoff in terms of reliable playmakers.

Chester Rogers, Nyheim Hines, and Ryan Grant are next up on the pecking order for Indy. But fortunately, those players will not be thrust into more responsibility than they’re used to with both Hilton and Ebron looking set to play in the huge game against the Titans.
