The Kansas City Chiefs are fine with what they have on their roster and are not looking to get additional help from the outside ahead of the NFL’s trade deadline, which is set on Tuesday. That’s what Chiefs head coach Andy Reid seemed to convey to reporters during Monday’s press conference, per Lynn Worthy of the Kansas City Star.

He doesn’t miss much.”
On paper, the Chiefs don’t look like a team that needs to make a splash in the trade market. They are off to a magnificent 7-1 start. They own the best offense in the league powered by a young triumvirate of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, running back Kareem Hunt, and wide receiver Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs are tops in the league in scoring offense with 36.2 points per game and third overall in total yards with 425.2 per contest.
But on the other side of the ball, Kansas City certainly could use an upgrade, as they have the second-worst total defense in the NFL with 432.4 total yards surrendered per game.
