The Kansas City Chiefs have long-term stability in terms of the team's leadership.
Kansas City announced Monday it had reached agreements on extensions with both head coach Andy Reid and general manager Brett Veach.
The exact terms of the extensions are unknown.
Reid has had plenty of success in his eight years with the Chiefs. The future Hall of Fame head coach has amassed an 85-36 record during the regular season, and he captured the first Super Bowl title of his esteemed career last year.
Reid issued a statement thanking the team's ownership and fan base for the continued support throughout the years:

I'm grateful for our players, my coaching staff, our support staff and our great fans. My family and I love living in Kansas City, and I look forward to continuing my career here.”
Veach has also been with the Chiefs for eight years and is in his fourth season as general manager.
The 42-year-old was swift and aggressive in securing the team's future on the field this offseason, reaching extensions with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones.
Kansas City is off to another tremendous start, going 8-1 in its first nine games. The Chiefs are primed to contend for multiple Lombardi Trophies down the road, and Reid and Veach will lead the way for years to come.
