The Kansas City Chiefs are doing fine in spite of Patrick Mahomes being out of the team for two weeks due to his dislocated kneecap. However, talk of their QB1 making a quick return to play against the Tennessee Titans is getting louder as the days go by.
Ian Rapoport started the hype train when he talked about the Mahomes' encouraging condition on Good Morning Football.

The NFL insider's words were more than encouraging for the Kansas City fanbase.

Kinda got close yesterday to being out there. But obviously, in the end, ended up being Matt Moore. Good chance we Patrick Mahomes out there Sunday.”
This assessment should be music to many a Kansas City fan's ears. The two games they played without Mahomes was a mixed bag of results. They fell short against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7 but managed to bounce back with a spirited performance against the Minnesota Vikings. Mahomes was celebrating with the team when they managed to secure the winning field goal as well.
There are legitimate concerns about how the team is rushing his recovery and potentially ruining his longevity in the league. However, Rapoport himself reported that his quick timetable was due to his one-of-a-kind physique. He said that his double-jointed knees allowed him to recover much quicker compared to other players who suffered the same injury.
If he does take to the field against the Titans, fans will be hoping that he doesn't injure himself again.
