Kansas City Chiefs fans went into a minor panic mode, albeit rather briefly, after Patrick Mahomes sent out a rather cryptic tweet.
In the said tweets, it looked like Mahomes is enduring something. He first sent out a confused emoji before writing a five-word note, saying “please don't make me sad.” Of course Chiefs fans became worried about their star QB's well-being and mental state.
Not to mention that it came with their Wild Card round against the Pittsburgh Steelers coming up soon.
Mahomes quickly deleted the tweets, but some of his followers have already taken a screenshot of what he wrote. One fan, in particular, shared a screenshot of the tweets and asked the young signal-caller if he is doing okay.

Fortunately, it doesn't look like there is anything wrong with Patrick Mahomes. In fact, his follow-up tweets were in a celebratory mood as he watched the Texas Tech Red Raiders took down the Baylor Bears in their rather tight NCAA basketball showdown, 65-62.
Anyway, it is certainly great Mahomes is enjoying his downtime before he gets back to business and play in the postseason, starting in the Wild Card weekend. The Chiefs have shown some inconsistencies throughout the regular season, so they have to be really focused this weekend. Sure enough, that starts with Mahomes.
Hopefully, Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs will be fully ready physically and mentally when Ben Roethlisberger and Co. visits the Arrowhead Stadium.
