The Kansas City Chiefs got themselves a good one in Skyy Moore during the 2022 NFL draft. After beefing up their defense in the first round, the front office decided to address their receiving core in the second round. Because of that, they were able to snag one of the best receivers in a loaded WR class.

No one is likely more excited to play for the Chiefs than Skyy Moore, who immediately hit up Patrick Mahomes after being selected. The rookie wide-out had a hyped four-word message for the former MVP, saying:

Moore is joining a wide receiver room that is full of talent. The Chiefs were able to get Marques Valdez-Scantling and JuJu Smith-Schuster in the off-season. Now, they're adding a talented wide-out to their offense, which also features the always reliable Travis Kelce. Their offense is looking pretty damn good this early in the year.

The Chiefs were caught with their pants down in the offseason as all of their division rivals made major upgrades in the off-season. While they didn't make splashy trades like the Broncos and the Raiders, they made their moves in the draft, grabbing two of the best defensive prospects in the first round.

The battle for AFC West supremacy will be a fun one to watch this season. Can the new draftees of the Chiefs keep up with the star power of their rivals? Will Patrick Mahomes disprove the narrative that he's nothing without Tyreek Hill? Can they come back as the AFC contenders they are highly touted to be? These questions will all be answered once the season starts.
