A lot went right for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. In their Week 1 contest with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Chiefs scored 40 points en route to a 40-26 victory.
However, not everything was perfect. Possibly the worst part of the day came when Tyreek Hill suffered an injury. The controversial superstar sustained a shoulder injury and had to leave the game. Not only did he leave the game, but he was also hospitalized.
Some good news comes for the Chiefs though, as Ian Rapoport reported that the injury doesn't require surgery.
#Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill, who is currently in the hospital, is expected to miss a few weeks with his shoulder injury, source said. No surgery required.

This is good news for the Chiefs for a pretty obvious reason. Yes, Hill will miss a few games, but that's not all that bad. Had he required surgery, all of a sudden you're looking at a strong possibility that his year is over.
With that in mind, this is one of the better case scenarios.
Article Continues BelowThe Chiefs still have a dynamic offense. That was shown by Sammy Watkins lighting it up at wide receiver, while LeSean McCoy showed flashes at running back and Travis Kelce did his thing at tight end.
Of course, Patrick Mahomes lit it up at quarterback, but that was expected. He might not have his most dangerous weapon for a little while, but at least he should have him back this year.
The Chiefs started their year 1-0. They did so by beating a Jacksonville Jaguars team that many expected to be much improved this year.
However, they got the win at a hefty cost, as Hill was seriously injured. The fear of him missing the entire season can be relieved for now though, as surgery isn't required.
