Although the Kansas City Chiefs may have had their first touchdown called back, it was only a matter of time before quarterback Patrick Mahomes found a way to get his team on the board.

Mahomes found tight end Travis Kelce for the Chiefs' first touchdown of the 2020 NFL season to tie the game, via NFL Twitter:

It hardly comes as any surprise to see that it was Kelce that caught Mahomes' first touchdown pass off the season. It is safe to say that the pair have managed to pick up where they left off as key factors in the Chiefs' Super Bowl run last year.

The Texans managed to strike first with a 19-yard rushing touchdown from running back David Johnson. Although this star-studded matchup has gotten off to a slow start in terms of the shootout it was expected to be, both offenses appear be finding their rhythm in the first half.
