Some people have spoken about the lack of big plays the Kansas City Chiefs have had this season, but they have a few of them already on Sunday. Following a successful fake punt versus the New York Jets, Patrick Mahomes hit Tyreek Hill for a 36-yard touchdown.

The connection between Mahomes and Hill has evolved into one of the best duos in the NFL in recent seasons for the Chiefs. When Mahomes needs a play down the field, No. 10 is typically the wide receiver he is looking to target.

But before Mahomes had a chance to find Hill for a touchdown, Kansas City's special teams were able to convert a fake punt on fourth down. Tommy Townsend, the punter of the Chiefs, would complete a pass to Byron Pringle to extend the drive.

A week ago, Kansas City dominated the Denver Broncos in all three facets of the game. And on Sunday against the hapless Jets, it appears that the Chiefs' special teams are coming up big once again.
