Patrick Mahomes was in the center of the Kansas City Chiefs' miraculous comeback versus the Houston Texans on Sunday. The second-year quarterback will hope to channel some more magic as the Chiefs prepare to square off against the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game.

This past Sunday, it appeared that Kansas City was heading toward an unjustifiable defeat after going down 24-0 early in the second quarter. But Mahomes rallied his teammates and began putting on a show for the fans at Arrowhead Stadium.

To erase the double-digit deficit, Mahomes tossed four touchdowns in the second quarter to take a lead into halftime. In the end, Kansas City continued to feed off of their momentum and won the game in impressive fashion, 51-31.

For the second straight season, Mahomes and company are set to take part in the AFC Championship Game. Without a doubt, the fearless quarterback is hoping for a different outcome this time around. In light of that, here are some bold predictions for the Chiefs' quarterback versus the Titans.

Mahomes will throw for 400 yards

Since becoming the starting quarterback in Kansas City in 2018, Mahomes has proven to be an otherworldly talent. From making no-look passes or 50-yard bombs with ease, the Texas Tech product is must-watch television.

Over his two seasons as a starter, Mahomes has combined for a grand total of 9,128 yards through the air. Surprisingly enough, Mahomes only has three games where he has eclipsed 400 passing yards thus far.

Last week, Kansas City's franchise quarterback finished with a playoff career-high 321 passing yards. On Sunday versus the Titans, Mahomes will surpass his own personal best by airing it out for over 400 passing yards against Tennessee's 24th ranked pass defense.

Mahomes finishes the game with 50 rushing yards

The Chiefs aren't known for their rushing attack and that was proven true on Sunday against the Texans. Altogether, Kansas City was able to gain 118 yards on the ground during their remarkable comeback victory.

Of those 118 rushing yards, Mahomes actually led the team with 53 yards on seven attempts. It was just the fourth time in Mahomes' career that he was able to get over 50 yards with his legs.

The Titans are undoubtedly going to spend part of the week game-planning ways to prevent Mahomes from doing the same on Sunday. With that being said, their concerted effort to stop him from running it won't keep him under 50 rushing yards.

Mahomes tosses another five touchdowns

There's no doubt that Kansas City's offense is predicated on allowing Mahomes to throw the ball as much as possible. Why wouldn't you when you have weapons like Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce in your arsenal?

The Titans are going to come into the game wanting to establish the run and get Derrick Henry involved early. Even though they could control the clock, Mahomes can still inflict damage on any defense he comes up against.

The gunslinging signal-caller completed five touchdowns against the Texans (a career-high in the postseason). Yet again, Mahomes will have no regard for Tennessee's defense as he tossed another five touchdowns for the Chiefs.
