Wright is coming off his lone season with the Chicago Bears where he recorded 59 catches on 91 targets for 614 receiving yards and a touchdown reception while playing in all 16 regular season games for the first time since 2013. It marked the fourth time that he has hauled in more than 55 receptions and at least 600 receiving yards in his first six years in the league.

His addition to Minnesota's offense gives them another viable receiving threat for Pro Bowl quarterback Kirk Cousins in his first campaign with the team alongside wide receivers Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, and tight end Kyle Rudolph. Wright can stretch the field and he's been known as a reliable playmaker in the passing game throughout his career.
The various moves that the Vikings have made this offseason have put together a more daunting roster that could push them to Super Bowl contention next season. They have one of the league's best defenses, and the acquisition of Cousins gives them a fully capable quarterback that could take them to the next level.
