Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has made it one of his main goals this offseason to establish a good chemistry with his new receivers, especially Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. It seems he’s doing a fine job with that.

In a recent appearance on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football, Diggs gushed about the great impression his new quarterback has already made not just on him but the whole team.

“He’s a likable guy,” said Diggs about Cousins, per Kabrione Coleman of the team's official website. “Everybody loves being around him. I love catching passes from him. I love playing for the guy. As far as his approach for the game, he’s teaching me some stuff.”

It’s certainly promising to hear that Cousins and Diggs have already struck up quite a good relationship. Their ability to link up through the air will play a major part in how the Vikings offense will fare this season.

Diggs is coming off another strong season as he had 64 catches for 849 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games. He also made some important plays in the postseason, none bigger than the famed “Minneapolis Miracle” against the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Divisional Round.

Diggs and Adam Thielen, who was Second-Team All-Pro last year, have emerged as one of the best receiving duos in the entire league. The Vikings will be hoping their upgrade at quarterback with Cousins can help both of them reach another level this season. Having a strong connection with Cousins should only help their ability to do just that.
