The Minnesota Vikings have been awful along the offensive front down the stretch of the 2020 season. They have shown many times that they appear unprepared and have a hard time executing consistently.
On the daily Locked On Vikings podcast, Luke Braun discussed how unimpressed he has been with the offensive line this year. He specifically called out how unprepared they look each week this season.
See what he had to say below, and listen to the remainder of the Vikings tilted podcast for other Minnesota information.
Article Continues BelowBraun: It is the first thing that a defense will throw at you. It is like vanilla rushing right at you 101. It is the simplest thing that a defense will throw at you and the fact that the Vikings still are not prepared for something like this, every week, it feels like a team that is just completely unprepared for their first preseason game and we are in December.
I feel like I have said this every single week and at a certain appoint the (Vikings) offensive line coach needs to be called into question. Dakota Dozier has been with Rick Dennison since 2016. Gary Kubiak has been doing zone schemes since forever. Why can’t you get your offensive line to figure out what stunts are? These things have been in the league since 1975. It is not new stuff. So why are the offensive lineman struggling so much to parse out the most basic thing is utterly pathetic. That’s even after some adjustments.
