Back in December, New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon was suspended indefinitely by the NFL for violating the league's drug policy, and it's up to Gordon to convince the league that he should allowed back.
At least according to Jay Glazer of The Athletic.
During a mailbag published on Friday, Glazer explained what Gordon needs to do to get reinstated:

They realize that a lot of them are using it for mental health and for anxiety issues.
“They’re not trying to be like they used to be, which was zero-tolerance; they’re trying to be more understanding these days, but this is on Josh Gordon to say, ‘This is what I’ve done for my recovery, I’m clean and sober, this is how I plan on staying clean and sober, I deserve this chance.' He’s got to convince them, not the other way around.”
This is definitely not Gordon's first rodeo, as he missed all of 2015 and 2016 due to suspensions and has played just 22 games since 2014 as a result of drug-related bans.
Gordon actually appeared in 12 contests between the Cleveland Browns and the Patriots this past season, participating in one game with the Browns before being traded to New England. Overall, he hauled in 41 receptions for 737 yards and four touchdowns.
The 28-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Baylor, was originally selected by Cleveland in the second round of the 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft, and in his second season, he caught 87 passes for 1,646 yards and nine scores en route to a Pro Bowl appearance and a First-Team All-Pro selection.
