While the world continues to mourn the death of George Floyd, some of the NFL's biggest names have expressed their opinions on the matter. Jamal Adams, the All-Pro safety for the New York Jets, shared his passionate plea following the death of Floyd, via his official Twitter account.

Besides Floyd, there have been countless murders to occur to people due to the color of their skin. The other names that should never be forgotten are Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery — who Jamal Adams mentioned in his statement.

As a result of the injustices happening in today's world, the recent events should be a catalyst toward actual change. However, for that to happen, everyone needs to realize that there is a racial issue that needs to be addressed.

Just a few years ago, Colin Kaepernick knelt during the National Anthem and brought these issues to light. Sadly, his message fell upon deaf ears and the majority of people chose to push him to the side. Now, everyone should see that Kaepernick realized what could transpire if we didn't continue to have conversations about making changes within the corrupted systems that have caused lives to be taken.

Given that, this time around, Jamal Adams is preaching that we can't allow the conversations to be mitigated. Regardless of your skin color, it is time to proactively do our part in assuring the equality of everyone.

Similar to most people, Adams is disgusted to see what has taken place over the past week. At the same time, it's important that everyone begin working toward the same cause of ending racial injustices and inequality.
