New York Jets star safety Jamal Adams certainly had an interesting NFL trade deadline.
The New York Jets safety ultimately stayed put, but not before a wild afternoon of rumors that included a report that Adams wanted to be traded to the Dallas Cowboys, which Adams later refuted.
But on Wednesday, Adams said that if he were dealt, he would have loved to got to the Cowboys.

Adams is a Texas native, so, obviously, playing for Dallas means he would be playing close to him.
However, Adams has stated his desire to play for the Jets.
The third-year defensive back has logged 39 tackles, an interception, five passes defended and a defensive touchdown through seven games this season.
Adams, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was originally selected by New York with the sixth overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft.
He played in all 16 games during his rookie campaign and was impressive, registering 82 tackles, a couple of sacks, a forced fumble, a pair of fumble recoveries and six passes defended.
The 24-year-old then broke out last season, appearing in every game and racking up 115 tackles, 3.5 sacks, a pick, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and 12 passes defended, making the Pro Bowl and earning a First-Team All-Pro selection.
Adams has been clearly frustrated by the Jets' losing ways this season, but he has never gone so far as to ask for a trade.
New York, which was expected by many to contend for a playoff spot this year thanks to a busy offseason, has gone just 1-6 thus far.
