New York Jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson had some alarming words about his knee injury after the game. The Jets were able to walk away with a close win against the Houston Texans 21-14.

According to Connor Hughes of The Athletic, Wilson had this to say after the game,

Zach Wilson says his knee “is not fully stable,” and after that tweak, it “didn’t feel fully stable,” but he knows he can’t re-injure it.

This is not good news for Jets fans as they are already one of the worst teams in football and the only thing that they are hoping for this season is to get the rookie quarterback up to speed and ready to play in the NFL. If the Jets want to have any sort of success in the next decade, they're going to need Zach Wilson to be as good as they believe he can be.

It's questionable why the Jets would send Wilson back out there if his knee is not 100% as the future of the organization is in his hands. Wilson did not have a great game today as he went 14-24 for only 145 yards and threw an interception. The Jets were still able to come away with the win, but they are still in last place of the AFC East.

It is interesting why the Jets are allowing him to still play and it's something to keep an eye on for the future. If the Jets are aware that he's not feeling great, then there's no reason for him to be out there for them.
