Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson of the New York Jets might have done the nicest thing of the year on Christmas morning when he was out to eat at a diner.

“You know we got to go to the little diner for a for a little brunch on Christmas morning. You know this awesome lady was working and she was doing a great job talking about her son you know playing football and you know how tough it was for her to be working on Christmas and stuff… She briefly mentioned how she's always wanted to get him tickets to a [Jets]game and never had the opportunity… This would really help you know her and her family and you know be able to spend that time together. You know she was obviously working on Christmas which isn't fun so I thought it was just a good opportunity for me to make someone happy”

This was a great thing to do from the Jets rookie quarterback and things like that are certainly going to have New York fans loving him even more. He has shown glimpses of his potential in this league but doing things like this off of it are much more important than anything he does for the Jets on the field.
