The New York Jets are not yet done with their roster revamp. This time around, the team is looking to add more weapons on the offensive side of the field with the recent signing of free agent wide receiver Chris Hogan.
NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero disclosed the recent signing on Twitter:

The former Penn State Nittany Lion became a journeyman throughout his NFL career before joining the Jets. In July 2011, the San Francisco 49ers took a chance on him and signed Hogan as an undrafted free agent. He was later released by the team a few months later.
Hogan then found his way to the New York Giants but was only placed on the team's practice squad. He then packed his bags and went to the Miami Dolphins' camp where he lasted for almost a year before getting released once again.

He eventually found himself being a staple in the Bills' offensive rotation until the 2015 season, and he'll hope to achieve the same with the Jets.
On March 10, 2016, Hogan, a restricted free agent, signed a three-year offer sheet with the New England Patriots. His three-year tenure with the team saw him bag championship rings under head coach Bill Belichick. He was part of the team that won the Super Bowl LI and LII in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
On April 12, 2019, Hogan signed with the Carolina Panthers. After four games where he recorded just three receptions, he was placed on injured reserve on October 2, 2019, with a left knee injury.
Now that he is already healthy, Hogan is looking to produce for the Jets this time around. He is hoping to make his own mark in an offense that is in dire need of depth and firepower. This opportunity may very well be the biggest break that he will get if he promptly capitalizes on it.
