The New York Jets lost a tough game in Week 17 against arguably the best team in football, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. New York lost this contest 28-24 and had a lead for most of the game.

There was a controversial 4th down call late into the game that saw the Jets potentially being able to walk away with a victory but they failed to do so. In the post-game press conference, Robert Saleh admitted to his faults and said that it was on the Jets coaching staff for the bad playcall.

Saleh says “poor communication” by coaching staff. It was supposed to be an end-around to Berrios. Wilson had option to sneak if certain look. Saleh puts it in the coaching staff.

As disappointing as losing usually is, this isn't necessarily a loss that is really going to hurt the New York Jets because they weren't in any spot to make the playoffs and they certainly need as good of a draft pick as they can possibly get. There are actually some good takeaways from this game because they were competing with one of the best teams in all of football and they also had a few guys play very well.

The Jets will take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 18, which is going to be the final game of their season. The Jets are going to hope that they could potentially walk away with a victory in this game so that they can have some confidence going into the offseason.
