The Pittsburgh Steelers have reportedly started listening to trade offers for disgruntled running back Le’Veon Bell. And it seems like the New York Jets have already made their interest known.
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Jets have reached out to the Steelers about a potential trade for Bell. Mehta adds that the Jets have not yet made a concrete offer for Bell, but they believe that the Steelers are serious about moving the All-Pro back.
Bell, who has not yet signed his franchise tag tender, will miss his third game of the season when the Steelers face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. Bell has yet to report after he and the Steelers failed to come to terms on a massive long-term deal. Bell is reportedly seeking upwards of $15 million per year, which the Steelers were unwilling to give.

Mehta further notes that the Jets have around $17 million in cap space, more than enough to acquire Bell's contract. They also have upwards of $90 million in space next season, which they could use to give Bell the massive contract he’s been looking for.
Bell would be a tremendous offensive weapon to pair with promising young quarterback Sam Darnold. The Jets currently have Isaiah Crowell and Bilal Powell as their running back options.
