Heading into this year's draft, there are a handful of promising quarterbacks available that will see their names called quite early in the first round later this month. Among those is former UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, who has been in the conversation as a possible selection at one of the top couple spots.
Rosen has been quite confident in his ability on the field and what he offers as a potential franchise quarterback at the next level. During a recent interview with Sam Alipour of ESPN The Magazine, he voiced that he believes that he is the best player at his position in this year's draft class.

I'm the best QB in the draft. A lot of guys are flashier, but I think I'm the most efficient, monotonously consistent QB in this draft. Rodgers has some flair, but if you watch Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, there's nothing that's explosive or Johnny Manziel — like. It's just quarterbacking.
Although some would view this as being boastful, it is an expected statement as any of these quarterbacks from this year's class would voice that they have the best to offer an NFL team. Rosen's comment could ring true as he is widely regarded as being the best pure passer of the group that possesses a strong accurate arm that allows him to make all the throws necessary at the next level.
There have been questions about his coachability and strong personality, but that shouldn't take away from his ability on the field. His strong level of confidence behind that should only speak well for his future prospects of pushing himself to develop into a franchise quarterback.
The only question that remains at this point is where he will land as there are several organizations in need of addressing the position under center. Regardless of where he is taken, Rosen will have a chance to prove himself worthy of being the future at the position for an NFL team.
