The Philadelphia Eagles made the biggest splash of the NFL Draft this past weekend. They did that though not by someone they drafted, but by trading for Pro Bowl wide receiver AJ Brown. The Eagles only needed to give up a first-round and a third-round draft pick for the elite receiver.
On Tuesday, the new Eagles receiver made an appearance at Citizens Bank Park, tossing out the first pitch.

Even though he moved in a bit from the pitcher's mound, Brown threw a strike to the plate with a little heat on it. His arm though likely will not be needed for the Eagles. His legs though are what Philadelphia fans are hoping will make a big difference.
The Eagles had one of the best drafts among all NFL teams. They drafted arguably the best defensive tackle at 13th overall, Jordan Davis out of Georgia. They also picked up their center of the future, drafting Cameron Jergens out of Nebraska. If that wasn't enough, Philadelphia might have got the steal of the draft, landing Georgia linebacker Nakobe Dean in the third round.
The Eagles have put themselves in a good position to build off of their unexpected success last season. They reached the playoffs, losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round. Knowing no team has won the NFC East back-t0-back years, hurts the Dallas Cowboys chances of repeating. That should excite Eagles fans, along with the mentality of linebacker Haason Riddick.
The trade of Brown though ultimately should allow the Eagles front office to know by season's end if Jalen Hurts is the quarterback of the future.
