The Philadelphia Eagles are officially 1-2 while things are not looking too hot in the “City of Brotherly Love” at the moment. With Eagles head coach Doug Pederson searching for answers early on in the 2019-20 regular season, Philadelphia's latest loss came at the hands of the always dangerous Detroit Lions — a defeat that came at home, no less.
However, Pederson remains incredibly optimistic when it comes to his team as the veteran head coach does not believe that the Eagles' season will be defined by Sunday's loss in Philadelphia.

It is also worth noting that Pederson has by no means lost faith in his players while the majority of the team's roster were present for a Super Bowl victory from only a few years ago.
“Just got to look at everything,” Pederson added, via Sportings News. “We have trust in our players. Defense had some nice stops late in this game, obviously, we had the blocked field goal for an opportunity there. So, yeah a lot of trust in our guys, and we just have to execute a little better.”
Prior to losing to the Lions in Week 3, the Eagles managed to defeat the rival Washington Redskins to open the campaign in addition to coming up just shy against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2.
