Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles did it again on Sunday against the Chicago Bears leading the team to a comeback victory, and he left his coach Doug Pederson impressed. Foles completed a 12-play drive that ended with a fourth-and-goal touchdown pass to Golden Tate with 0:56 remaining on the clock.

During Pederson's weekly radio appearance on 94WIP Morning Show, he talked about how “scary calm” Foles plays, and how it's exactly what the team needs.

“He is unbelievablely calm,” Doug Pederson said of Foles on Monday's 94WIP Morning Show.

Pederson sometimes wonders if Foles even has a pulse when he's playing, that's how calm he stays on the field.

“It's a scary calm. You wonder sometimes if he's got a pulse and he's feeling the moment, but I know he is and that's the thing because we talked even during the game. He was really good during the game, his mind was in the right spot, he was focused. You know, and just in those moments he's delivered.”

Foles doesn't have the greatest arm strength and doesn't throw the prettiest ball, but when he's out on the field, he makes the right plays and the entire offense around him seem 100 percent bought in.

The road doesn't get any easier now as they will have to travel to the Big Easy to take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon. It's going to need to take a near-perfect performance from Foles and being “scary calm” is probably the way to get that done.
