The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to face off against another NFC North opponent, this time the Detroit Lions, making it two straight weeks that they have done so. Steelers fans are hoping the end result is a little less close than last week, however, as Pittsburgh was barely able to come away with a narrow victory over a weak Chicago Bears team. In this post, though, we'll be making our Steelers Week 10 predictions.

This week, they will take on an even worse team, however, as the winless Detroit Lions head into town. The Lions, owners of the league's only winless record, surely are hungry, but how hungry can they possibly be?

For insight on the Steelers' Week 10 matchup against the Lions, listen below:

They sure gave the Rams a run for their money and the same with a few other teams in the league, but it has also been blowout three times already. That includes recent blowout losses to the lowly Eagles and 5-4 Bengals. It is safe to say you don't really know what you're going to get with this team. That is not a good thing…just to be clear. Here are four bold predictions for how the Steelers plan to keep the Lions winless.

Pittsburgh Steelers Week 10 Predictions

4. Najee Harris will run for over 85 yards

Last week was the first game of the year in which the Steelers won with Najee Harris going under 65 yards. That trend will not continue this week, as Harris will be tasked with a larger share of the workload with Chase Claypool on the mend. Look for the Steelers to pound the rock to harris early and often, taking advantage of the Lions' run defense that is allowing 134.5 points per game (29th in the NFL)

You must take advantage of your opponents' weaknesses in this league, and if a team can't stop the run, you cannot be shy about attacking it. Pittsburgh has no trouble being the “bully on the block” and that will show up this week as they run straight down the Lions' throats all game long.

3. Ben Roethlisberger won't play the 4th quarter

This game will get out of hand to the point that Ben Roethlisberger…and possibly Jared Goff…will not finish the game as the starting quarterback for their teams. Ben is likely to have a very easy day, riding Harris to the end as a workhorse back, then have Mason Rudolph possibly take over. It will be good for Rudolph to get some time out on the field, Roethlisberger has not been the most durable quarterback in the twilight of his career…then again, who is besides Tom Brady?

2. Pat Friermuth will have 20 PPR fantasy points

This is not too big of a surprise, as Friermuth has actually averaged 17.5 PPR fantasy points in the past two games without Eric Ebron. Even though Ebron may return this week, there are still targets to go around with Chase Claypool expected to not be able to suit up. Look for Big Ben to pepper Friermuth and Diontae Johnson when they are not running the ball down the Lions' throats with Harris. If you have him as your starting tight end, that probably means you are really good in other places and have a fairly dominant team. If he is on your bench, he makes for an interesting “pinch-start” for a few guys with tough matchups (Tyler Higbee) or injuries (Noah Fant). Pat is the number 15 tight end in terms of PPR fantasy points per game and by the end of the year, the kid will probably be in the top-10.

1. The Steelers will not give up more than 14 points

The Lions are really in the middle of a stinker part of their season. They had a lot of emotion heading into the Rams game a few weeks ago when they wanted to get a win for their QB and actually had a great game plan. The fact that they still lost, despite two fake punts and an onside kick, has to be demoralizing. The Steelers need to take advantage of the slide that the LA game has sent the Lions on. They have been blown out more times than they have kept it close over the past month, and we do not expect that to change on Sunday.
