Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety and current ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark came down hard on wide receiver Antonio Brown this week, saying that head coach Mike Tomlin needs to put his foot down and trade the star before things get worse.
Well, Brown did not take too kindly to his former teammate's criticisms:
Antonio Brown calling Ryan Clark an Uncle Tom is my favorite thing to happen so far this year 😂 pic.twitter.com/mjHlkW9Uea

Sorry Antonio, but that's not a great comeback and does nothing to justify your actions.
While Brown resorted to a wise crack, Clark actually made some salient points about Brown that did not just pertain to his going AWOL before Pittsburgh's season finale last week.
Article Continues BelowClark brought up the fact that Brown has publicly aired his discontent with the amount of touches he gets in the past, not to mention his issues with the team's offensive coordinator.
He also talked about Brown's strange and ill-advised Facebook Live incident last year, when he streamed Tomlin's postgame comments from the locker room, allowing everyone to see and hear what Tomlin was saying after his team's Divisional Round loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Throw in the fact that Brown's current Steelers teammates think he was faking an injury prior to the Bengals game last week, and things are not looking too good for the 30-year-old wide out.
Brown hauled in 104 receptions for 1,297 yards and a league-leading 15 touchdowns this season en route to his sixth straight Pro Bowl selection and seventh overall. He has also been named a First-Team All-Pro four years in a row, and it remains to be seen if he will earn those honors again this season.
