Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin called the NFL's officiating a joke after Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons and in return, the NFL has fined him $25,000 according to Jarrett Bell of USA Today.
After Sunday's victory, Tomlin said the officiating was a joke and it is costing people a lot of money and their jobs. TJ Watt was called for a questionable for roughing the passer call where he tried to do everything to avoid Matt Ryan but was still flagged for a 15-yard penalty. It's unclear if that is what Tomlin was referring to, or if he was just talking about the new rule's in general.

Tomlin talked to Troy Vincent, the league’s executive vice president of football operations on Monday and there was some thought that he wouldn't be fined because he made the comments after a game and in the heat of the moment and the NFL takes that into account when deciding if they should fine.
Tomlin also said on Tuesday he didn't expect to be fined, but it appears that the NFL has changed course and decided the comments would be punished.
Tomlin has never been afraid to speak his mind and a $25,000 fine isn't probably going to make him change his way's. If he feels like there is something that needs to be said, he will speak his mind on the issue.
