The Pittsburgh Steelers have had- and still have- some personalities in their wide receiver room. From Antonio Brown to Chase Claypool, the Steelers have had no shortage of players who make headlines, sometimes for the wrong reasons. Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin, a former wide receivers coach in college, was blasted by analyst Shannon Sharpe for the behavior of his wide receiver room.

Shannon Sharpe didn't hold back when it came to the Steelers wide receiver room under Mike Tomlin. Sharpe feels that Tomlin allows wide receivers to basically do what they want and condones it because they're talented and contribute to the team.

Sharpe is likely referring to the past antics of Antonio Brown, who unwisely posted videos on social media and was known for his sideline tantrums while in Pittsburgh under Tomlin.

Or maybe Sharpe is referring to Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who has come under fire for his viral dancing on social media, which often occurs on the field on the other team's logo.

There have also been cases of Tomlin's wideouts acting out or making dumb plays this year, as evidenced by Chase Claypool's poorly timed first down celebration, or Ray-Ray McCloud's own celebration, which came under fire after the recent loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Sharpe has a point when thinking about just how many examples there are of Steelers wideouts being detrimental to the team with no repercussions.

However, it's outlandish for Sharpe to suggest that Tomlin coaches his players to do such things. No NFL coach would openly coach his players to commit stupid penalties.

However, Shannon Sharpe certainly does raise an interesting point when it comes to Mike Tomlin and the behavior of the Steelers' wide receiver room.
