Some legitimately unfortunate news coming out of the Houston Texans National Football League franchise, as reports are stating that tight end CJ Fiedorowicz might be forced to call it a career far too early.

Fiedorowicz left the team's season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars after being diagnosed with a concussion. The tight end would then suffer another one last weekend. He was then placed on injured reserve, as it was his fourth concussion in the last two seasons (reportedly, he's suffered three in total this season).

According to ESPN, due to the amount of concussions suffered in such a short period of time, the tight end's career is in real jeopardy.

The tight end can decide to call it quits on his own, but in the ESPN report, it is mentioned that he would need to pass a team physical to get back on the field if he still would like to play. However, it isn't believed — at least not with 100 percent confidence — that he's capable of doing such a thing.

Apparently, there were concerns well before his fourth concussion that he'd have to call it quits sooner rather than later, as well.

Either way, here is to hoping everything works out for the tight end. Whether that's getting back on the field, or in a post-playing life. Just be healthy.
