The San Francisco 49ers pulled off the upset against the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round. But heading into a Divisional Round matchup with the Green Bay Packers, they were the ones feeling upset, as their best player has not been 100 percent healthy heading into the next round.
Superstar defensive lineman Nick Bosa left the game against the Cowboys in the second quarter with a concussion. His status has been the biggest story for the 49ers heading into their matchup at Lambeau Field. Without him, MVP-candidate Aaron Rodgers' life would be much easier against the San Francisco defense. Luckily for the Niners, that won't be the case.
The day before kickoff, the 49ers officially announced that Bosa is good to go against Rodgers and the Packers. Head coach Kyle Shanahan sounded positive about his ability to play yesterday. Now, after being a full participant in practice on Friday, it's certain that Bosa will return to action.

Bosa is the heart and soul of not just the defense but the whole team. The 49ers' star led the league in tackles for loss (tying with T.J. Watt) and recorded the fourth-most sacks in the league. His presence vastly improves San Francisco's defense. With linebacker Fred Warner, who also got injured against Dallas, being ready to play, the Niners could put up a good fight in Green Bay.
Even though Bosa will be playing, defeating the Packers at home is a tall order. Rodgers is elite and leads a dangerous offense that was bolstered with All-Pro tackle David Bakhtiari, who missed all but the last game of the regular season.
