His #35 jersey is set to be raised to the rafters ahead of the Predators home game against the Dallas Stars.

Rinne announced his retirement this past summer, after spending 15 seasons with Nashville. He helped lead the Predators to their only Stanley Cup Finals appearance in 2017. Ultimately, they lost to the Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games.

Rinne ended up being one of the best value picks in the 2004 NHL Draft after the Predators drafted him 258th overall. He started 667 games over his storied career, finishing with a 369-213 record in regulation. He posted a career 2.43 goals against average and a .917 save percentage over his 15 seasons in Nashville.

Rinne is largely considered the best player in Predators franchise history. Granted, Nashville is a relatively new franchise. Hockey arrived in Tennessee back in 1998. Nevertheless, Rinne played at an elite level for the vast majority of his career, earning four All-Star selections.
